Nail Polish Collection (swatches)

 Hi everyone!!!
So, this is my first time to swatch nail polishes.
I don't really like swatching bec. it's just a waste of nail polish, cotton and acetone.
You paint it, then remove it. It's pretty much a waste of time too!
But this time I have to give it a try,
I bought some local polishes yesterday
and I would like to take advantage of my short nails.
hope you like them :)
OMG Nail Color (first date) -3coats
2 coats is good but 3 coats is better
I love this shade!, it's very girly!
price: 25php

OMG Nail Color (bikini) - 2 coats
smooth application
opaque, you can use this in stamping
I like the color too! It's not red, it looks like dark pink to me
price: 25php

OMG Crystal Sand (quartz)
yeah its glittery but doesn't give you a rough feeling on your nail.
one thing I don't like about this polish is the fact that it's
a glitter and hard to take off :(
price: 25php

Sassy Colors (Neon Yellow)- 3 coats
price: 17.50 php

Sassy Colors (Neon Pink)- 2 coats
price: 17.50 php

Sassy Colors (Neon Blue)- 2coats
price: 17.50 php

Sassy Colors (Neon Violet)- 3coats
price: 17.50 php
These polishes are cheap, but  they're quite good!
I'm not a fan of expensive polishes, there's no way to buy even one.
For me,all polishes are thesame.
As long as you use them right,
and your nails are well groomed!
no one would ever tell that you're wearing a cheap polish!

ahhh, swatching polishes is not easy but I must admit I had so much fun :D
so I guess from now on, I'll swatch whenever there is new polishes to arrive,
stay tuned ! see yah later guys!!!

DORAEMON Nail Art

Hi everyone!
Just a quick post on doraemon nails!

Aside from hello kitty, I still have another favorite cartoon
and that is... DORAEMON!,
when I was young my day wouldn't be complete without watching
this Japanese cartoon series.

Then yesterday, I came across
this blog post of Ms.Mae of artofnail

this adorable doraemon design really captured my attention...
can't take my eyes away from it,

So, now I decided to make my  very own doraemon nails.
sorry if I'm being too ambitous :))

I did it on fake nails

I stamped OB 14 & KD 15 plates

Base color: OMG crystal sand polish

I can do nail art for little girls who will come to the party,
I said Yeah! of-course! who doesn't want to paint nails for little princesses?

Here are some pictures I had to share

Re- Created Nail Designs

hello gals!
Today, I decided to write about re-created nails.
I know everything we learned about nails is from constant
net searching, blog reading, facebooking, pinteresting lol! and etc.

Btw, have your nail arts have
been re- created by someone else?
how would you feel when someone is
wearing a design that was inspired by your designs?...

ME, I feel very blessed, thankful and happy
especially when they mention my name in their artwork.
It flatters me because it only means
that I'm doing a good job and
they appreciate it.

Here are some of my designs re-created by Talented Nail Artists...

Their re -creations look better then mine :))

Last year by the month of September, with the help of my friend bianca,

it was my birthday contest and
the theme is NatalieBrookes Inspired Nail Art.

here are the entries:

These girls are so talented they do not know how happy
I am whenever I look at this pictures...

If someday you might recreate one of my designs
pls let me know so that I could thank you...

One Stroke Nail Art

Good day nail art dearies!

If you're addicted to nail stamping
have you been into freehand before?
Well, me? not really! I don't like doing freehand
not because I don't know how to draw
but it's because it'll turn out looking
uneven, messy, dirty, unperfect.

But since I got my own set of good quality brushes
and acrylic paint, I learned to do one stroke nail art.
For me, this kind of technique is easier.
than any other freehand techniques

Here are some of my One Stroke designs ....

Thanks for visiting my blog.
pls. follow my updates and I promise
there would be more and better nail arts to come!
THANK YOU!!!

Ombre manicure :)

Ola! how are you guys?
hope fine:)

Lately I've been addicted to sponge nail art/ ombre nails.
Maybe it's because I already know the technique for a perfect gradient nails.
I watched a lot of tutorials in youtube and I find them very  helpful...
In just few practice,tada!

here's two design  i made for today
and yes! the same base.

This is the 1st one i made. after I took a picture of it,
I erased the design and reused the base :)

This is the last one I made...
I love how this design turned out!

if you want to learn how I did this, just
check out my post about "Mermaid Scale" nails. I used thesame technique.

Mermaid's Tail Nail Art

Hi! hope you guys are doing well today.
The sky is gloomy and I got bored so I decided to do a quick tutorial on Ombre: Mermaid's Tail manicure...
I watched a video of totally cool nails on you-tube a while back and I fell in-love with her
mermaid inspired manicure. So I grabbed my nail art thingy s  and created my own version of Mermaid's tail design :)

I know a lot of girls already know the techniques used in this design but
this is intended for those who just started their nail art addiction lol!

enough, let's proceed :))

Start off with a base coat and apply 2 coats of white nail polish of your choice.

Take two colors of acrylic paint and apply directly to your sponge.
(you can also use regular nail polish)

Gently dab the sponge into your nails until you get this gradient affect.

Clean the edges and add top coat.

STAMPING TIME!!!
yeah I love this part<3

1. Choose your design, make sure it looks like fish scale.
Apply silver nail polish to the plate.
2. Scrape
3. Pick up the image from the plate
4.Check if the design has sticked to your stamper
5. Stamp it to your nails.

We're done!
You can add some rhinestones or decals if you want!
Hope you guys like it.

Here's the one I made for my mom :) cute!
